THE SAPPHIRE MUSEUM
Discover the story of the world's largest sapphire deposit
Located in the heart of Ilakaka, our museum was created to introduce visitors to the fascinating world of sapphires, one of Madagascar's greatest natural treasures.
Our mission is simple: to preserve Ilakaka's mining heritage and share the knowledge and craftsmanship behind these extraordinary gemstones. Admission is completely free, with no obligation to purchase. This museum is a non-profit initiative that we run voluntarily, driven solely by our passion for sharing the story of Ilakaka's sapphires with visitors from around the world.
